Guides / How to upload
Getting a custom wrap onto your Tesla
Wraps live in Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps. There are two ways to get a file there. The phone app is quicker; USB works on every car that supports wraps.
From the Tesla app
- 01Download a wrap made for your exact model from the wrap list and save it to Photos or Files.
- 02In the Tesla app (version 4.59 or later) open Creations → Wrap → Upload and pick the file.
- 03In the car, open Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps. The new wrap shows up after the car syncs, which can take a minute.
The app upload needs car software 2026.26 or later and a phone key set up for the car. If you don't see the Upload button yet, use USB.
From a USB drive
- 01Format the drive as exFAT, FAT32 (MS-DOS FAT on a Mac), ext3 or ext4. NTFS does not work.
- 02Make a folder called
Wrapsat the top level of the drive and put the PNG files in it. - 03Keep map or software update files off the drive, plug it into the car and open Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps.
